COFFEE POTGolf Course
Road,
There are many informal stops for snacking on the island but this one has a number of advantages. For a start it has a view of the sea, plus an attractive rustic patio with wooden seating and an arch of trailing greenery. Inside the decor is plainly functional with a service area and baking on display. If you order a pot of tea, it comes with a pot of hot water and a waitress will check, after a while, whether you need more hot water, or anything else. In the rating for attentive service this place scores highly. Coffee and tea is from Algies. Other pluses are the home-made soups, full of flavour and good fresh vegetables, the generous salads and the baking. My vote for excellence would go to the shortbread but others favoured the carrot cake. Cost of light snack £3 - £6.00. |
