ARRAN COFFEEThe
Barn,
Freshly
roasted coffee has an allure of its own, volatile, elusive and richly
satisfying. The trick is to catch this character before it fades, which
is why the fresher the roast the better the taste and why six month
to a year old coffee is not a good buy. And there are other coffee considerations,
which Quinn Taylor thinks equally important, such as choosing the right
blend of coffee for the Arran water. Brazilian Santos, Costa Rican Arabica and Colombian Suprema are the three single estate coffees which he uses, in various blends, for a range which are named after island locations. Freshly roasted in Lamlash, some are Fairtrade registered which guarantees workers rights and fairer, guaranteed prices so that Third World coffee growing communities can invest in local schools, hospitals etc. Product Range: A wide range of arabica blends.
