An enterprising mix of useful groceries, home-baking, home-cooking, plus fresh fruit and vegetables as well as daily deliveries of fresh fish (Tuesday to Saturday). One counter display has home-cooked dishes including good-tasting, well-made quiches as well as cold meats. The adjoining display of home-baking may include original breads such as poppy seed plaits or caraway loaves. There were packets of fresh island-grown Kingscross herbs as well as Kirkend Nursery fruits. There is also an Organic Table which a wide range from soya milk to pinhead oatmeal from Green City Foods (Glasgow). The adjoining self-service tearoom serves snacks, home-baking, traditional and vegetarian meals.
