OYSTERS BLOODY MARY

An adaptable oyster recipe to serve chilled or grilled. A glass of iced vodka goes very well with this dish.

INGREDIENTS
6 scrubbed oysters, opened
Splash of vodka
Dash of Tabasco
Grind of black pepper
Squeeze of fresh lime
Flesh of 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped (no pulp or seeds)
½ - 1 teaspoon whole grain Arran mustard (optional)

METHOD
Stir together the ingredients and spread evenly over the opened oysters. Chill or grill for 5 - 10 minutes. Serve with bread and butter, or hot buttered toast. Ensure extra lime and pepper are available.
